Per sources, the Philadelphia Eagles have extended a contract offer to free agent RB Devonta Freeman. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Eagles have also been rumored as interested in Carlos Hyde, who has signed with the Seahawks, and LeSean McCoy. Per sources, the Eagles offered Hyde, but have yet to extend an offer to McCoy. According to McLane, Freeman is still weighing his options, which includes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will enter the season with third-year back Ronald Jones II and rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn. There have been conflicting reports about whether or not Freeman was considering retirement, but he squashed those rumors on social media earlier in the week. He’s looking for a certain amount of money, but at 28 years old, he may have to settle for a bit less if he wants to continue playing in the NFL.
