The Packers selected RB AJ Dillon in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Jones is looking secure a new contract and recently said he would love to be a “lifelong Packer.” The 26-year-old RB had this to say about the Packers drafting Dillon. “I know it’s the NFL,” said Jones. “They are bringing in guys every day to compete so I mean it’s just going to raise my game and I’m excited to have him there and start working with him, teaching him the playbook and everything.” Coming off a career-year, Jones is expected to handle majority of the carries out of the Packers’ backfield. He logged 236 carries for 1,064 rushing yards and 19 total touchdowns in 2019. Jones is currently 10th among al running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
