Jadeveon Clowney still expects to sign before the season starts

Free agent DE Jadeveon Clowney told Josina Anderson on Tuesday that he hasn’t narrowed down his final list of teams, but that he expects to sign by the start of the season. (Josina Anderson on Twitter)

Also according to Anderson, Clowney still believes the market is intact for his services as one of the league’s top pass-rushers. He was rumored to be seeking $18-20M in free agency, but he has yet to sign and the clock is ticking on getting a deal done prior to training camp opening up at the end of July. Teams that have reportedly shown interest in the All-Pro so far have been Cleveland, Seattle, Tennessee, and Philadelphia that we know of.
