Kittle and the 49ers continue to work out a long-term deal and the contract would be worth around $13 million a year. This would be make him the highest paid TE in the NFL. It was reported that both sides were “far apart” on a contract extension. Kittle is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is looking to secure a long-term contract. The 26-year-old is surefire TE1 and is currently second among all tight ends in the latest expert consensus rankings.
