Jadeveon Clowney has reportedly received an offer from the Raiders

According to sources, the Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly extended an offer to free agent DE Jadeveon Clowney. (Cecil Lammey on Twitter)

The same sources say that two or three other teams have better offers on the table, but that Jon Gruden is willing to up the offer for the elite pass-rusher. Raiders GM Mike Mayock may not want to pay Clowney what it’s going to take to bring him to Las Vegas, but Gruden is certainly in his ear looking to increase the Raiders’ offer. Clowney has been linked to a multitude of teams thus far including Cleveland, Tennessee, Seattle, and now Las Vegas. Reports have said that he expects to sign soon, hopefully prior to training camp at the end of July.
