The Philadelphia Eagles have fined and disciplined WR DeSean Jackson for conduct detrimental to the team after he posted insensitive material on his social media account earlier in the week. (Zach Berman on Twitter)
Jackson has apologized for his anti-Semitic remarks and will remain with the organization, but must “commit to supporting his words with actions,” per the Eagles press release. Jackson has certainly caused some irreparable damage to his image in the last few days, but will try to show fans that he’s working toward a better understanding of the different communities around him. For now, we still fully expect Jackson to suit up for the Eagles Week 1, but he’s got a lot to prove to fans and the organization between now and then. Consider a healthy DJax a boom or bust WR3 for fantasy purposes this season if he can remain healthy.
