Henry signed his $10.6 million tender this off-season. He is not expecting a contract extension before the July 15th deadline. “I don’t think anything will get done, but we’ll see,” Henry said. “I’m not worried about it, I’m just going to go out there. I get a chance to play this year and do my thing this year. I’m pretty locked in on what I got ahead of me in the 2020 season. That’s what I’m locked in for, you know, I don’t like to look too far ahead.” Henry is “fine” playing on the franchise tag and is hoping look to get a deal done before the deadline. The 25-year-old hauled in 55 receptions for 652 yards and five touchdowns across 12 games in 2019. Henry is currently seventh among all tight ends in the latest expert consensus rankings.
