The deal is not official yet, but it’s fully expected to be finalized in the coming days. Cleveland locks up their prized pass-rusher for an additional five years. He’ll be under contract through the 2025 season. In his short three-year NFL career thus far, Garrett has recorded 30.5 sacks in just 37 games played. His ability to get to the quarterback off the edge is a thing of beauty and the Browns should be ecstatic to have him under team control for an additional five seasons.
