Jaguars star DE Yannick Ngakoue, who has expressed his desire to be traded, has had contract discussions with multiple teams and is willing to be flexible, but so far it has been the Jaguars’ unwillingness to deal him that has been the holdup. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
The Jaguars have also spoken to other teams about Ngakoue, however they’re only going to move him if they can get what they want in return. Basically, they’re not going to trade one of the best edge-rushers in the league for pennies on the dollar. Ngakoue is scheduled to play the 2020 season for Jacksonville on the franchise tag if a trade can’t be worked out that benefits both the organization and the player.
