No. 12 overall pick out of Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III has agreed to terms on his four-year, $16.67M fully guaranteed contract with a fifth-year option with the Las Vegas Raiders. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
He hasn’t officially put pen to paper, but Ruggs has agreed to the terms of his rookie contract. As the 12th overall pick, the Raiders will surely utilize him right out of the gates, but he’s unlikely to see a huge target share his rookie year. Instead, because of his speed and YAC-ability, Ruggs should be considered a boom-or-bust WR4 this season with upside. He’s a great buy in dynasty formats as he’s likely the future at the wide receiver position for the new-look Las Vegas Raiders for years to come.
