Fantasy Impact:

For the time being, Kmet will begin the season as the number two tight end for the Bears. Chicago brought in 33-year old multi-year Pro Bowler Jimmy Graham in the offseason on a two-year deal that will pay him $9M guaranteed. While Graham gets the first crack at the TE1 spot, Kmet will likely be right on his heels should the veteran underperform or get injured. Kmet could still see the field a decent amount his rookie season given the high draft capital spent on him, but he’s likely a couple years away from being a real contributor in the Chicago passing attack.
