Ke’Shawn Vaughn expected to start the season as the backup RB to starter Ronald Jones, per Jenna Laine of ESPN. (ESPN )
Vaughn will be in the mix for carries, but is expected to backup starting running back Ronald Jones. He recently signed his rookie contract and will be a valuable handcuff to Rojo. If Jones were to falter as the starter, the Buccaneers could call Vaughn’s number. Look for the 23-year-old to begin the season as the primary third-down back and log anywhere from 5-to-10 carries per contest. Vaughn has a ton of fantasy upside and is currently 34th among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
