Graham Gano released by the Panthers

Graham underwent knee surgery in November, and was expected to compete with Joey Slye for the Panthers’ kicker job. The Panthers have decided to move on and waive Gano. Carolina will clear $2.8 million off the books. Gano is reportedly fully recovered from knee surgery and will look to latch onto another team during training camp.
