According to head coach Bill O’Brien, the Houston Texans continue to “work hard” on a long-term contract extension for their franchise QB Deshaun Watson. (ESPN)

After the Brinks truck was backed up for Patrick Mahomes, it’s no doubt Watson wants similar treatment from the Texans, and it sounds like an extension could be in the works. Houston sees Watson as their long-term solution at the quarterback position, and he should be paid as a top-5 QB when all is said and done.
