Brandon Aiyuk expected to start Week 1

49ers rookie WR Brandon Aiyuk is expected to play a big role in the offense starting as early as Week 1 of the regular season. (NBC Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

"I think Kyle would probably agree with you there," NBC Sports' Chris Simms told Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe about Aiyuk being a big part of the 49ers' offense from the jump. With Deebo Samuel likely to begin the season on the PUP list, the first-round pick out of Arizona State should see a significant snap count early on. He’s a proven playmaker at the wide receiver position on a team that’s looking for consistency at WR. The passing offense will still run through George Kittle, but expect Aiyuk to be utilized early and often. He’s probably a good bet to outproduce his current ADP of WR70.
