New England quarterback Jarrett Stidham said he's ready for a quarterback competition in camp, adding that he's "put in a lot of work this offseason to really improve mentally, physically in a lot of different areas." (Pro Football Talk)
Cam will likely win the starting job for the Patriots and will be a late-round target for a lot of owners hoping that Bill Belichick will be able to re-capture his MVP-caliber play after a few mediocre seasons in Carolina. Stidham, however, thinks that he has just as much of a right to the starting job and is looking forward to the competition. After one season behind Tom Brady, the Auburn product will look for his first opportunity to start this season. Stidham has not had much of an opportunity in the NFL but accumulated 5,952 yards and 36 TD's in his final two years at Auburn.
