Joe Flacco (neck) is expected to miss “one or two” games this season and is on track for a September return, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Flacco went to a specialist Friday to check in on the progress of his neck, and there reportedly were no issues. He was placed on the active/PUP list and will miss the first few games of the season. Flacco signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason, and will backup starting QB Sam Darnold. The 35-year-old is dart throw in two-quarterback league formats, and is currently 51st among QBs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
