Bengals wide receiver John Ross has left training camp to care for his young son after both the boy and the boy’s mother tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report from NFL insider Mike Garafolo. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Ross will now likely face a lengthy quarantine before returning to the team, especially since he is knowingly coming in contact with multiple people who have already contracted the virus. He will be away from the team for at least a couple of weeks. In 2019, the speedy wideout caught 28 passes for 506 yards and three touchdowns in eight games. He did not have his fifth-year option picked up this offseason.
