Sammy Watkins open to having a lesser role this year

“As a receiver, yeah, of course, I want more balls and would love to have more balls," Watkins said. "But that’s not my focus. My focus is getting the win and going out there and having fun.” Watkins took a pay cut to remain in Kansas City this offseason and seems to be embracing a lesser role. Mecole Hardman could take more and more snaps from Watkins as the season goes on. He's best viewed as a boom-bust WR4 in fantasy drafts this month.
