Eno Benjamin expected to make 53-man roster

Seventh-round pick rookie RB Eno Benjamin has impressed Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury in practice thus far and is not worried about being cut ahead of the looming decisions teams have to make to get down to a 53-man roster. (ArizonaCardinals.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Benjamin has been called a “free spirit” by Kingsbury, but his personality alone won’t get him a spot on the roster. Coach has been impressed early on with his vision: "He has a knack for finding the hole, there's no doubt," Kingsbury said. "He definitely has a feel for the run game, and that's exciting to see where he can take this thing. He has to find a role in and contribute on special teams, and he knows that, but we like what we've seen so far." The depth chart behind starter Kenyan Drake is relatively thin, with just Chase Edmonds solidified as the backup, so Benjamin could easily find himself occupying the No. 3 RB job for the Cardinals heading into the season. He’s a dynasty stash for sure, but probably undraftable in redraft leagues at this point.
