RB Lamar Miller (knee) could return to practice soon, per Patriots' RB coach Ivan Fears. (Greg Bedard on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Miller was placed on the PUP list as he continues to recover from a torn ACL sustained last August. "Very hopeful, said Fears. "Yeah, of course. I see Lamar as a veteran player who has been very, very productive so what he’s got. I’d like to see if he’s the real deal, of course. But when we get him, we’ll get him." Miller signed a one-year deal with the Patriots this off-season. The 29-year-old will compete with Sony Michel, Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead for carries in New England. Miller will have a tough time providing fantasy value in a crowded Patriots' backfield. He is currently 90th among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
