Josh Allen hopes to run less this season

Bills QB Josh Allen, who rushed 109 times last season, told reporters that his mindset on running is a bit different this season. (Matt Bove on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

“I want to get the ball into our playmakers hands....they’re a lot faster than me,” said Allen. He accumulated 510 yards and nine TDs on the ground in 2019, leading the Bills to a 10-6 record and a playoff berth, but he seems to think it’s best for the team if he gets the ball to his skill players more often in 2020. The Bills have no shortage of talent on offense this year, bringing in both Stefon Diggs and Zack Moss to complement their already solid group of playmakers. Look for Allen to possibly take another step forward as a pocket-passer this season, but his mindset could potentially be a downgrade for him in fantasy, as his running ability is by far his biggest asset to his value.
