Bryce Love at risk of being cut?

by Mike Maher | Sat, Aug 29th 8:30am EDT

Washington running back Bryce Love, who didn't play at all last season while recovering from a knee injury he sustained at Stanford, has been running with the second- and third-team offenses in practice and could be the victim of a crowded running back room, reports Ben Standig of The Athletic. Fantasy Impact:

While the tone of the article indicates that Love could be a candidate to be cut, Standig later clarified that he only meant that Love could be inactive on gameday, with Adrian Peterson, Antonio Gibson, and J.D. McKissic all seemingly ahead of him on the depth chart. Either way, this is not a good development for fantasy owners in deep leagues who were hoping to take a late-round flier on Love as a deep sleeper candidate.
