Alvin Kamara and Saints to continue working on a deal, expected to practice

Ian Rapoport is reporting that "cooler heads have prevailed" in the drama surrounding running back Alvin Kamara and the Saints. Kamara had skipped practice in what was assumed and reported to be a contract dispute. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Kamara is on the last year of his rookie deal and fans were in for a scare when threats of a holdout loomed throughout the day. Kamara hasn't practiced since last Thursday and rumors started to swirl today regarding trades, holdouts, and fake injuries. It appears as if both parties are willing to put this in the past and look to move forward with negotiations. However, this scare may cause Kamara to slip further than his current ADP until a deal is in place.
