Ronald Jones II ‘still the guy’ according to Bruce Arians

According to Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians, Ronald Jones II is “still the guy” in the backfield for Tampa Bay, even after the signing of Leonard Fournette. (James Palmer on Twitter)

Arians also said that Fournette adds some outstanding depth to the RB room. He explained that when an opportunity to add a former 4th overall pick presents itself, you see what you can do to make it work. Interesting takes from the head coach the morning after the addition to the RB stable in Tampa Bay. It sounds like Jones could open the season as the starter, but look for Fournette to also provide solid value in the backfield. It’s a sticky situation to sift through, and one that will require patience especially early on in the season.
