Cam Akers was listed as the third running back on the Rams unofficial depth chart Tuesday. (TheRams.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Akers is behind running backs Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson. He has the most upside out of the trio and will look to carve out a role in the Rams’ backfield. It was reported that Akers will separate himself from Henderson and Brown in the second half of the season. The Rams drafted Akers in the second round of the NFL 2020 Draft, expect the rookie RB to play a key role for the team in the near future. Akers is currently 25th among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
