Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde may work under 'hot hand' approach

Regarding the running back room of Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said "Sometimes you go with who's hot. They're going to both play. We'll see what happens when they get out there. If it looks like somebody's got something going on that day, we'll stick with it." (Joe Fann on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is less-than-encouraging news for those that drafted Chris Carson with hopes of him being a bell cow running back. However, Seahawks insider Joe Fann said it's "mostly coach speak" and that "Carson is the guy." Carlos Hyde is coming off a productive season in Houston where he logged 1,070 on 245 carries. Chris Carson has posted back-to-back seasons with over 1,150 yards with 18 total touchdowns. Both have proven fantasy success but this should cause owners to temper expectations for Carson and push Hyde into the low-end RB3 category.
