James Robinson surprising coach with 'ability to catch the ball and block.'

James Robinson is getting some high praises from head coach Jay Gruden who said "He's a great blocker; he's got great hands. He's picked up everything extremely well."

Fantasy Impact:

Most people had never heard of Robinson until just a week ago. Undrafted out of Illinois State, he stumbled into a starting role for the Jaguars and will look to make an immediate impact. He was a true workhorse for the Redbirds, totaling 3,189 yards and 30 touchdowns on the ground over the last two seasons. He was rarely used in the passing game in college, snagging just 37 receptions for 244 yards and a touchdown. However, Gruden seems to believe that he has great hands which could really help his fantasy outlook, especially in PPR leagues. We have him ranked as our RB48 against a stout Colts defense this week, but he's a great stash in a season with very few bell cow backs.
