Van Jefferson hauls in 31 yard pass in NFL debut

by Alex Burns | Steelers Correspondent | Mon, Sep 14th 12:42am EDT

Van Jefferson hauled in one of three targets for 31 yards during the Rams' Week 1 victory over the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Fantasy Impact:

Playing in his first professional game, Jefferson hauled in a beautiful over-the-shoulder reception for 31 yards for his lone highlight. Other than that, he was relatively held in check. He rotated in and out with Josh Reynolds as the Rams' third receiver, though it may not take long before he takes most of Reynolds snaps. Jefferson should only be played in deep leagues but is a worthy bench stash if you have the ability, as Jared Goff has proven to be able to support three fantasy-relevant receivers in the past.
