Saints' stud WR Michael Thomas has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain suffered during the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Thomas suffered the injury during garbage time when Latavius Murray fell on the back of his foot and it appears that he dodged a bullet. His status will be worth monitoring throughout the week and with the Saints' playing on Monday night, the extra day of rest could end up being a godsend for his Week 2 availability. It's also important to mention that Thomas believes he can play through the ailment. Consider the superstar wideout questionable for Monday's tilt against the Raiders.
