Jonathan Taylor confirmed as the starting running back moving forward

During his press conference, Colts head coach Frank Reich confirmed that rookie RB Jonathan Taylor “will step into the starting role” moving forward. (Stephen Holder on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Reich said of Taylor, “he’s ready.” He also reiterated that Nyheim Hines will remain a big part of the offense and that Jordan Wilkins will also “have a role.” Wilkins didn’t log a single snap in Week 1, so don’t expect him to be heavily involved in the offense. The unfortunate news of Marlon Mack tearing his Achilles catapults Taylor into the RB1 conversation and puts Hines square in the RB3 range, with consideration as a flex play each and every week.
