George Kittle (knee) won't practice Wednesday, still expects to play Sunday

49ers' head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that TE George Kittle may get the whole week to rest his sprained knee, though he expressed optimism that Kittle could play Sunday. (Nick Wagoner on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Shanahan stressed that he has no problem with Kittle playing even if he doesn't practice throughout the week, though he hinted that the All-Pro tight end might be involved in Friday's session. Still, fantasy managers will want to monitor Kittle's status throughout the week and it wouldn't hurt to have another option readily available. If Kittle is able to suit up, he'll find himself in a plus matchup against the lowly Jets.
