A.J. Bouye (shoulder) placed on Injured Reserve

by Matthew MacKay | Thu, Sep 17th 8:19am EDT

Cornerback A.J. Bouye suffered a dislocated shoulder during the Broncos' 16-14 loss to the Titans on Monday night. Bouye will be placed on IR, meaning he can return after his recovery in three weeks. (Denver Broncos on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Bouye was traded to Denver from Jacksonville for a fourth-round draft pick during this offseason. Heading into his eighth season in the NFL, Bouye was going to be used to fill the void left by the departure of Chris Harris Jr. to the L.A. Chargers this offseason. Now the Broncos will have to rely on a pair of rookie cornerbacks to limit Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers' passing attack in Week 2.
