According to Seahawks HC Pete Carroll, Rashaad Penny is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery and can practice after sitting out six weeks. (Bob Condotta on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Penny appears to be progressing well in his recovery from a torn ACL, and Seattle HC Pete Carroll is optimistic about his outlook once he's activated from the PUP list. There are still several weeks until this happens, so Chris Carson owners shouldn't be concerned in the interim as he's slated to get a bulk of the carries for the foreseeable future. Penny will likely shift to a third-down, pass-catching role once he's ready to return.
