Jets reportedly interested in Matt Schaub

According to ESPN's NFL reporter Adam Schefter, the New York Jets are said to be one of the interested parties for the services of quarterback Matt Schaub, alongside the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and others. (Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
If the Jets sign Schaub, then it doesn't make good reading for the other quarterbacks on the roster. Last season the team only took Michael Vick and Geno Smith into the regular season, and so two Jets QBs could fail to make the cut this time around. It would be virtually pointless to invest anything in Matt Simms fantasy-wise, and Schaub has a genuine chance of beating out Geno Smith. His real competition could well be Ryan Fitzpatrick, but it's hard to be enthusaistic about any of the Jets' options at the position heading into fantasy football drafts.
