"I know we can win with either quarterback. But the veteran quarterback right now gives us the best chance to win," said Lynn. "It’s not like we won the damn game yesterday. We lost last time I checked.” Taylor suffered a chest injury in pregame warmups which kept him out of Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Chiefs. He is considered week-to-week. Herbert threw for 300 yards and one touchdown and one interception in his first career start. Despite the strong showing from the rookie, Taylor will be the Chargers starting QB once he is cleared to return.
