Drew Brees throws one touchdown in Week 2 loss

Saints QB Drew Brees completed 26-of-38 passes for 312 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in Monday night's Week 2 loss to the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact:
Even with Michael Thomas out, Brees was effective, eclipsing 300-yards passing in the Monday night loss. However, Thomas' absence was felt overall as the Saints dropped a normally winnable game on the road. The bright spot is Brees appears to have rejuvenated his offseason connection with Tre'Quan Smith, who led all Saints not named Alvin Kamara in receiving. Brees gets Green Bay in Week 3.
