49ers' RB Raheem Mostert's MRI on his injured knee confirmed a sprained MCL. He is unlikely to play in Week 3 and should be considered week-to-week moving forward. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Mostert and the 49ers' are lucky his injury wasn't worse as the team is optimistic he won't be out for an extended period of time. With Tevin Coleman (knee) also banged up, Jerick McKinnon should be very busy in Week 3 and is among some of the top waiver wire adds heading into the week. Jeff Wilson Jr. should also see an expanded role against the Giants on Sunday.
