Ravens sign backup QB Matt Schaub

The Ravens have found Joe Flacco’s backup, as they have signed veteran Matt Schaub, per Sports Illustrated’s Peter King. Schaub reportedly visited the Under Armour Performance Center Tuesday afternoon and apparently didn’t leave without signing a contract, despite interest from other teams. There were reports that the Jets, Falcons, Cowboys and Titans also had interest in Schaub. (BaltimoreRavens.com - Ryan Mink)
Fantasy Impact:
Schaub brings 11 seasons of NFL experience to Baltimore. Schaub is a capable backup, but has struggled for the last few seasons. Last season was a low point in his career when he was unable to keep his starting job in Oakland. His fantasy value is extremely limited as long as Joe Flacco stays healthy.
