Jerick McKinnon (ribs) racks up 77 total yards before suffering injury

Jerick McKinnon rushed 14 times for 38 yards and a touchdown while hauling in 3-of-4 targets through the air for 39 yards during the 49ers' 36-9 win over the Giants in Week 3.

Fantasy Impact:

With Reheem Mostert (MCL) and Tevin Coleman (knee) sitting this one out, it was up to McKinnon and Jeff Wilson Jr. to carry the load for the 49ers'. Despite the 17 touches, McKinnon was only able to produce 77 total yards and if it weren't for his 10-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, it was otherwise a lackluster showing. Head coach Kyle Shanahan did say after the game that McKinnon did suffer an injury to his ribs during the fourth quarter but the severity is not yet known. He should be considered questionable for the teams Week 4 game against the Eagles and if he were to sit, Wilson Jr. would likely see a hefty workload if Mostert is unable to return.
