Jabril Peppers (ankle) avoids serious injury

New York Giants safety Jabril Peppers left Sunday's game against San Francisco early with an ankle injury, but the early word is that Peppers suffered only a low ankle sprain and avoided serious injury. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Peppers limped off of the field Sunday, but he is believed to have suffered only a low-ankle sprain. It looked like bad news for the G-men, but the injury is not considered to be serious. He should be considered questionable for Week 4 against the Rams until we hear an update on his status sometime this week.
