Phillip Lindsay (toe) might be able to return for TNF in Week 4

by Dan Titus | Broncos Correspondent | Mon, Sep 28th 2:58pm EDT

According to Broncos HC Vic Fangio, Phillip Lindsay (toe) is trending in the right direction and might be able to play on Thursday night versus the New York Jets. (Zac Stevens on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lindsay missed the past two games as he recovers from a turf toe injury he sustained in Week 1. Coach Fangio also noted that should Lindsay return, he would be on a play count, which would limit his upside as a flex play in 12-team leagues. Still, this is seemingly good news for the Broncos as they could use another weapon on offense after losing WR Courtland Sutton. The return of Lindsay will also cut into Melvin Gordon's playing time and send Royce Freeman back to the bench.
