Justin Herbert throws three touchdowns in Week 4 loss to Bucs

by Dan Titus | Chargers Correspondent | Sun, Oct 4th 7:35pm EDT

Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert completed 20-of-25 passes for 290 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed for 14 yards on five carries in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

Herbert looked like a veteran, going toe-to-toe with Tom Brady in a high-scoring affair. Herbert connected on a 72-yard bomb to Jalen Guyton, giving the Chargers the lead in the third quarter but was ultimately outdueled by one of the all-time greats in Brady. Herbert's taken command of the Chargers offense, and despite HC Anthony Lynn's confidence in Tyrod Taylor, it looks like the starting QB job is Herbert's to lose. However, he'll have a more demanding test against the New Orleans Saints next week on Monday Night Football.
