Adrian Peterson scores in Week 4 loss

by Zachary Hanshew | Lions Correspondent | Sun, Oct 4th 9:15pm EDT

Adrian Peterson rushed 11 times for 36 yards and a TD in the Lions’ 35-29 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Peterson was unsurprisingly cold against the Saints’ quality run defense, though he was able to punch in a short score to make up for his day. A DPI call set up a goal-line scoring opportunity earlier in the contest, but he was ruled down short of the goal line. He enters the Week 5 bye as Detroit’s most reliable option in the backfield, though it’s possible rookie D’Andre Swift gets more work beginning in Week 6.
