Leonard Fournette expected to play in Week 6

by Anthony Cervino | Buccaneers Correspondent | Sun, Oct 18th 5:46am EDT

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) is expected to play in Week 6. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While there are reports out there suggesting that Fournette will be active but as an emergency back only, Pelissero's report hints otherwise. Per Pelissero, the Buccaneers are "eager" to get Fournette going if he "feels good" during pregame warmups. From a fantasy football perspective, Fournette will be hard to trust not only because of the conflicting reports but also because Ronald Jones had gone north of 100 total yards in consecutive games as the lead back. Take the wait and see approach in Fournette's impending return so you don't setback your fantasy lineup if he is indeed only a decoy.
