Irv Smith Jr. goes for 55 yards in loss

by Zachary Hanshew | Vikings Correspondent | Sun, Oct 18th 9:03pm EDT

Irv Smith Jr. caught four of five targets for 55 yards in the Vikings’ 40-23 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

He nearly came down with a touchdown early in the game when he reached down for a reception at the goal line, but he couldn’t hold on to it. Minnesota then finished the drive with a turnover on downs. Smith Jr. was the Vikings’ second-leading receiver for the second week in a row, and he should be a streamable TE2 with TE1 if he can remain involved in the offense moving forward.
