Denver Broncos RB Royce Freeman received eight carries and ran for 26 yards and caught one pass for four yards in an 18-12 win over the Patriots.
Fantasy managers might have expected Freeman to get more work on Sunday, considering Melvin Gordon III did not play and Phillip Lindsay made his return from a three-game absence. That didn't happen as Freeman played second fiddle to Lindsay, who outpaced him in carries 23:8. Freeman saw time as the passing-down back, but with Lock being highly inaccurate, he didn't get much of an opportunity to produce. Freeman is deep league handcuff as he'll need a Lindsay or Gordon to miss games to make him worthy of a pickup in 10-12 redraft leagues.
