Dak Prescott (ankle) officially placed on IR

The Cowboys have officially placed QB Dak Prescott on injured reserve Monday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
As expected, Prescott was placed on injured reserve Monday. LB Leighton Van Esch was activated to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move. Prescott continues to rehab from ankle surgery and has a 4-to-6-month recovery timeline. The 27-year-old QB is expected join the Cowboys for offseason workouts in early May. Prescott played under the franchise tag in 2020 and will work with Dallas towards a long-term extension during the offseason.
