Clyde Edwards-Helaire tramples over Bills defense for 169 total yards

by Dan Titus | Chiefs Correspondent | Mon, Oct 19th 11:56pm EDT

Kansas City Chiefs rookie RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire carried the ball 26 times for 161 yards and added two receptions for eight yards in a 26-17 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Edwards-Helaire steamrolled the Bills, setting new career-highs in carries and yards on the ground on Monday night. This was his best game to date, and if there is any concern of CEH's value after the signing of Le'Veon Bell, those concerns were put to rest as the Chiefs made it a point to feed their rookie back and establish the run against a tough Bills defensive line. The Chiefs offensive line and running backs were the stars of the game, and CEH owners should feel good about his outlook despite Bell being in town. The only downside is that he didn't find the endzone again, but the volume is there. Through six games, CEH has 505 yards on 107 carries with one rushing TD and 21 receptions for 177 yards this season.
