NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Panthers CB Eli Apple (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 7. (source)

Apple is in line to play this week. His return will only help a Panthers defense that is playing incredibly well against the pass despite being repeatedly gashed by enemy rushers.
